Shadi J. Ireifej DVM DACVS

Dr. Shadi J. Ireifej DVM DACVS, a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton and Cornell University, is a board-certified small animal surgeon. He completed an intensive internship at Angel Animal Medical Center in Boston, followed by surgical internships and a residency at Long Island Veterinary Specialists. After a decade at LIVS, Dr. Ireifej moved to Las Vegas, where he joined the Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center. He later served as Chief of Surgery in Silicon Valley, managing three locations and expanding emergency and specialty services. In 2018, he became Chief of Specialty at TrueCare for Pets in Los Angeles, significantly growing the hospital and its services. Dr. Ireifej shifted his focus in 2020 to launch VetTriage as their Chief Medical Officer, providing telehealth services globally. A published author and dynamic speaker, Dr. Ireifej continues to influence veterinary medicine through multiple media platforms and is dedicated to empowering the next generation of veterinary professionals.
